The HPO’s Building Smart #16: 2012 Code Changes – Safety, Efficiency and Sustainability seminar focuses on the key Part 9 code changes of the BC Building Code and the Vancouver Building By-law. Participants will learn about the impact the new requirements will have on various regions throughout the province. This three-hour seminar will be presented in 22 communities across B.C. from April 11 to May 31, 2012.

The BC Codes - Release of Next Editions in 2012

The Province will publish the next editions of the BC Building Code, BC Fire Code, and BC Plumbing Code in the spring of 2012 with an effective date in the fall of 2012. Over the next year, the Province will work with industry to ensure a smooth implementation of the new BC Codes.
