Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC)
CMHC publishes a variety of best practice guides, research highlights, research reports and information related to residential construction including window performance, installation and standards.

NRC Institute for Research in Construction (NRC-IRC)
The NRC-IRC is Canada’s national construction research agency and publishes construction related research reports and bulletins. Provides Canadians with publications and information on energy conservations and energy efficiency programs.

Energy Star Canada
Provides a rating for doors, windows and skylights. It identifies specific products that meet or exceed premium levels of energy efficiency.

Glazing Contractors Association of BC
Provides a Glazing Systems Specifications Manual which covers building codes and by-laws, design issues, performance issues, performance evaluation and validation and quality assurance.
Canadian Home Builders’ Association
The CHBA website refers to a Builders’ Manual which covers building design considerations, building envelopes and mechanical systems.
