Gearing Up for Builder Survey
The HPO is gearing up for its province-wide biennial survey of licensed residential builders this fall.
Conducted by an independent market research firm, the survey is a self-administered questionnaire that will be mailed to all licensed residential builders in B.C. in October this year.
Builders are encouraged to complete the questionnaire which is designed to gauge their satisfaction with the effectiveness of the HPO’s licensing and home warranty insurance system, and research and education outreach. Participants also have the option of completing the survey online.
As an incentive to participate, builders who complete and return the survey questionnaire will be eligible to win one of ten complimentary copies of the new Building Envelope Guide for Houses courtesy of the Homeowner Protection Office.
“Feedback from builders helps the HPO evaluate and improve its existing programs and plan for future programs and initiatives that benefit both the industry and consumers,” explained Ken Cameron, Chief Executive Officer. “We look forward to sharing the results in an upcoming edition of this newsletter.”
