Built Green BC
The Built Green BC program is a voluntary program that awards achievement ratings for new houses at three levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold. The program is based on a minimum EnerGuide for New Houses rating with additional points awarded for each of seven areas in design and construction of new houses including: operational systems, building materials, exterior and interior finishes, indoor air quality, waste management, water conservation, and business practices.

Green Globes
An assessment tool that rates existing buildings and sets guidelines to integrate green principles into retrofits and new buildings. By utilizing Green Globes in the building design stage, greater energy and resource efficiency is achieved.
LEED
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is voluntary green building rating system. There are five principal LEED categories, including: Sustainable Sites, Water Efficiency, Energy and Atmosphere, Materials and Resources, and Indoor Environmental Quality with four possible levels of certification (certified, silver, gold and platinum).
